Shri Ramesh Kadam is an Independent Director on the Board of AFC. He holds Post Graduate degree in Agriculture from MPKV Agricultural University, Rahuri, India, CAIIB & Diploma in Computers. He joined Bank of India as Direct Recruit Agricultural Officer (DRO) in 1981. Worked in Priority Sector particularly in Agricultural Lending till 1990. Has served as a Branch Manager in Solapur, Jamshedpur (Urban) & Urali - Kanchan (Rural), India. Handled ownership of Branch with responsibilities of smooth running of daily operations, Business Development and financial reporting to controlling offices & regulator. Headed the Priority Sector Credit Department.Was former Chairman of RRB, Managing Director of Overseas Subsidiaries and also Zonal Manager.
Shri Kadam had been Nominee Director of Bank of India on Board of VKGB (RRB), Nagpur and AFC India Limited. Also attended various seminars on Micro Credit/SHG Movement/Co-operative Credit in South Asian Countries like Manila, Philippines,etc. Attended Chief Executive Conference of Bank Of India Overseas Centers in Hong Kong, New York and USA. Overall, possesses effective communication skills, ability to lead team of multi-disciplinary professionals, analytical ability, adapt to challenging work environment and work culture by virtue of varied geographic experiences.
